The 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro represents the flagship trim of an all new, fourth generation Tacoma, marking the midsize pickup’s first full redesign since 2005. Built on Toyota’s TNGA-F global body on frame architecture, shared with the larger Tundra, the new Tacoma brought a more athletic, upright stance along with a completely reworked interior. The TRD Pro sits at the top of an eight trim lineup, exclusively equipped with Toyota’s i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain, combining a 2.4 litre turbocharged four cylinder engine with an electric motor for a combined 326 horsepower and 465 lb ft of torque, nearly double the torque output of the outgoing V6 it replaced.
Off road hardware on the TRD Pro includes a lifted suspension, an aluminum front skid plate, an ARB steel rear bumper with a red recovery hook, and Toyota’s first of its kind IsoDynamic performance seats, which use an air over oil shock absorber system built directly into the seat to help smooth out rough terrain for the driver. Inside, the TRD Pro features a bold Cockpit Red interior with contrast stitching and digital camo inserts, along with a 14 inch touchscreen running Toyota’s latest Audio Multimedia infotainment system, blending genuine trail capability with a thoroughly modern cabin experience.
Hot Wheels brings this redesigned off road pickup into its Car Culture Road Trip series, finished in a bold Red exterior that highlights the Tacoma’s muscular, chiseled body lines and raised stance. This casting captures the TRD Pro’s aggressive front fascia, flared wheel arches, and off road proportions at 1:64 scale, giving collectors an accurate, current take on one of the most anticipated pickup redesigns in recent memory.
